Alexander Kerbst studierte an der Theaterhochschule in Leipzig. Schon während seines Schauspielstudiums verkörperte er den Joe im Musical MANCHE MÖGENS HEIß am Berliner Metropol-Theater, wo er 10 Jahre als Solist engagiert war. Er spielte in Bernstein's WEST SIDE STORY, DER ZAUBERER VON OZ und CABARET. Es folgten Hauptrollen wie Prof. Higgins in MY FAIR LADY, Dr. Otto Siedler in Benatzkys IM WEIßEN RÖSSL, Vincent in VINCENT VAN GOGH,
Bill Snibson in ME AND MY GIRL, Che in
Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA, Gabey in Bernstein's ON THE TOWN,
Horace Vandergelder in HELLO DOLLY uvm.
Einen größeren Bekanntheitsgrad erreichte Alexander durch die Rolle des exzentrischen österreichischen Rappers Falco, den er seit vielen Jahren erfolgreich verkörpert,
u. a. im Musical FALCO MEETS AMADEUS sowie bei der
ICH WILL SPAß - DIE ULTIMATIVE NDW-SHOW.
Seit 2017 tourt er mit der Erfolgsproduktion FALCO - DAS MUSICAL durch Europa. Dieses Engagement bescherte ihm sogar einen 10 minütigen TV-Auftritt in der berühmten Helene-Fischer-Show.
Im Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein in Füssen spielte er die Musicals DIE PÄPSTIN sowie Ralph Siegels ZEPPELIN und
EIN BISSCHEN FRIEDEN - SUMMER OF LOVE. Bereits seit 2005 verkörpert Alexander diverse Rollen in LUDWIG². Alexander Kerbst ist auch als Regisseur tätig. Er führte u. a. Regie bei
ORPHEUS IN DER UNTERWELT (Theater Trier) und den Tourproduktionen von DER GLÖCKNER VON NOTRE DAME sowie DIE NACHT DER MUSICALS.
Alexander war Preisträger beim Nationalen
Brecht-Eisler-Wettbewerb in Berlin sowie beim Bundeswettbewerb Gesang Berlin.

Alexander Kerbst studied at the Theaterhochschule in Leipzig. During his acting studies, he already played Joe in the musical MANCHE MÖGENS HEIß at the Metropol Theater in Berlin, where he was engaged as a soloist for 10 years. He played in Bernstein's WEST SIDE STORY, THE WIZARD OF OZ and CABARET. This was followed by leading roles such as Prof. Higgins in MY FAIR LADY,
Dr. Otto Siedler in Benatzky's IM WEIßEN RÖSSL, Vincent in VINCENT VAN GOGH, Bill Snibson in ME AND MY GIRL,
Che in Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA, Gabey in Bernstein's
ON THE TOWN, Horace Vandergelder in HELLO DOLLY and many more.
Alexander achieved greater fame through the role of the eccentric Austrian rapper Falco, whom he has successfully impersonated for many years, including in the musical FALCO MEETS AMADEUS and in the ICH WILL SPAß - DIE ULTIMATIVE NDW-SHOW. Since 2017, he has been touring Europe with the successful production FALCO - DAS MUSICAL. This engagement even gave him a 10-minute TV appearance on the famous Helene Fischer show.

Alexander was a prizewinner at the National Brecht-Eisler Competition in Berlin and the National Singing Competition in Berlin.
