... wurde in Berlin geboren und erhielt seine Ausbildung an der Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg und in Los Angeles. Hier studierte er Gesang, Schauspiel und Tanz.

Mit dem Musical LUDWIG² verbindet Martin eine ganz besondere und innige Beziehung. Er war von Anfang an bei der Entstehung dieses wundervollen Bühnenstückes dabei. Es war sein persönlicher Start in eine großartige Bühnenkarriere. Noch während seiner Ausbildung, wurde Martin, vom original Kreativ Team, zur Welturaufführung, des Musicals LUDWIG² - DER MYTHOS LEBT, ins Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein engagiert. Für dieses Engagement beendete er seine Ausbildung ein ganzes Semester früher und ging direkt nach Füssen. Hier stand er als alternierender Schattenmann und Prinz Otto von Bayern auf der Bühne. Auch bei der Neuinszenierung LUDWIG² - DER KÖNIG KOMMT ZURÜCK war Martin wieder dabei. Diesmal entwickelte er den Prinz Otto von Bayern neu und war außerdem in der Titelrolle des bayrischen Märchenkönigs Ludwig II. zu erleben.

Danach ging es für Martin zum bekannten Musical
JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Hier spielte er bei der Landesgartenschau Bayern und im Musicaltheater Basel
die Titelrolle.
Martin wirkte bei der ersten BEST OF MUSICAL GALA, der Stage Entertaiment, in der Lanxess Arena in Köln mit und war länger im ZDF, in der Dokutainment Soap STAGE FEVER - BÜHNE FÜRS LEBEN
zu erleben. Im Klassiker CITY OF ANGELS übernahm er die Rolle des Peter Kingsley und u.a. die des Autors Stine.
Ein weiterer Meilenstein in Martins Bühnenkarriere ist das bekannte Musical ELISABETH. In mehr als 8 Jahren und über 1000 Vorstellungen war Martin Teil dieses Musical - Welterfolges.
Als die Vereinigten Bühnen Wien die originale Inszenierung von ELISABETH - DAS MUSICAL nach Osaka und Tokyo (JPN) brachten, war Martin Teil des Ensembles und auch als Kronprinz Rudolf zu sehen. Den gleichen Part spielte er auch bei der Neuinszenierung im Theater des Westens in Berlin, im Theater 11 in Zürich, im Teatro Rossetti in Trieste (IT) und auf der Europatournee, anlässlich des 20 Jährigen Jubiläums. 2014 war das Musical ELISABETH erstmals in China zu erleben, im neugebauten
Culture Square Theatre in Shanghai.
Harry Kupfer engagierte Martin erneut, aber diesmal auch in der Hauptrolle Der Tod. Mit dieser Neuauflage tourte er anschließend, erfolgreich durch Deutschland und Österreich.

Im Revival des erfolgreichsten Musicals der Schweiz
SPACE DREAM - DAS ORIGINAL, kreierte Martin die Hauptrolle des Weltraumprinzen Rodin neu. Beim großen Klassik Open Air der Staatskapelle Halle auf der Peißnitzinsel, sang Martin das Phantom der Oper. Außerdem war er der Hauptsolist bei
STARS OF MUSICAL in der Königlichen Oper in Kopenhagen.

Mehrmals spielte Martin die Titelrolle des Jesus, in Webbers JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Seit mehreren Jahren ist er immer wieder der Moderator und Hauptsänger von Europas erfolgreichster Musicalgala DIE NACHT DER MUSICALS.

Martin spielte den Claude Hooper Bukowski und George Berger, jeweils in Erstbesetzung im Kultmusical HAIR und feierte große Erfolge als Tony, in der WEST SIDE STORY an der Oper Halle. Am Admiralspalast Berlin, spielte Martin im Berliner Musical
DER HAUPTMANN VON KÖPENICK den Willy Wormser und den Zeitungsjungen. Er war Teil des Monthy Python Musicals SPAMALOT und übernahm die Hauptrolle der Dragqueen Walter/Waltraud in
DER BEWEGTE MANN - DAS MUSICAL.

In Goethes klassischem Schauspiel GÖTZ VON BERLECHINGEN, unter der Regie von Hansgünther Heyme übernahm Martin den Bischof von Bamberg und den Metzler. Bei der 20 Jahre - Jubiläumstournee des Broadway Rockmusicals RENT war Martin als Benjamin Coffin III. und in der Hauptrolle Roger Davis zu sehen.

2019 holte ihn TuiCruises als Solist ins Premierenensemble der brandneuen Linie Mein Schiff 2. Hier war er Teil der großen Taufshow in Lissabon und hatte Premiere mit seiner Soloshow
I LOVE MY LIFE an Bord des Schiffes.

Neben seiner Bühnentätigkeit ist Martin regelmäßig als Synchronsprecher und Sänger im Studio,
u.a. für Netflix und Disney+.

Seit 2020 ist er künstlerischer Leiter beim Gold & Silber-Musikverlag für das Musical LUDWIG² - DER KÖNIG IST ZURÜCK!
Seit 2021 spielt Martin als Erstbesetzung den Schattenmann im Musical LUDWIG² - DER KÖNIG IST ZURÜCK! im Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein, Füssen.

Martin has a very special and intimate relationship with the musical LUDWIG². He was involved in the creation of this wonderful stage play from the very beginning. It was his personal start to a great stage career. While still in training, Martin was engaged by the original creative team for the world premiere of the musical LUDWIG² - DER MYTHOS LEBT at the Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein. For this engagement, he finished his training a whole semester early and went straight to Füssen. Here he appeared on stage as the alternating shadow man and
Prince Otto of Bavaria. Martin was also involved again in the new production LUDWIG² - DER KÖNIG KOMMT ZURÜCK. This time he redeveloped Prince Otto of Bavaria and also played the title role of the Bavarian fairytale king LUDWIG II.

Martin then went on to the well-known musical
JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Here he played the title role at the Landesgartenschau Bayern and
the Musicaltheater Basel.
Martin took part in the first BEST OF MUSICAL GALA, organized by Stage Entertainment, at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne and could be seen for some time on ZDF in the docutainment soap
STAGE FEVER - BÜHNE FÜRS LEBEN.
In the classic CITY OF ANGELS, he took on the role of
Peter Kingsley and, among others, that of author Stine.
Another milestone in Martin's stage career is the well-known musical ELISABETH. In more than 8 years and over 1000 performances, Martin was part of this musical world success.
When Vereinigte Bühnen Wien brought the original production of ELISABETH - THE MUSICAL to Osaka and Tokyo (JPN), Martin was part of the ensemble and also appeared as Crown Prince Rudolf. He also played the same role in the new production at the Theater des Westens in Berlin, at Theater 11 in Zurich, at the Teatro Rossetti in Trieste (IT) and on the European tour on the occasion of the 20th anniversary. In 2014, the musical ELISABETH was performed for the first time in China, at the newly built Culture Square Theatre in Shanghai.
Harry Kupfer engaged Martin again, but this time in the leading role of the Death. He then successfully toured Germany and Austria with this new production.

In the revival of Switzerland's most successful musical
SPACE DREAM - THE ORIGINAL, Martin recreated the leading role of the space prince Rodin. Martin sang the PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at the Staatskapelle Halle's big Klassik Open Air concert on the Peißnitzinsel. He was also the main soloist in STARS OF MUSICAL at the Royal Opera in Copenhagen.

Martin played the title role of Jesus several times in Webber's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. For several years, he has been the presenter and main singer of Europe's most successful musical gala DIE NACHT DER MUSICALS .

Martin played Claude Hooper Bukowski and George Berger in the cult musical HAIR and enjoyed great success as Tony in
WEST SIDE STORY at the Halle Opera. At the Admiralspalast Berlin, Martin played Willy Wormser and the paperboy in the Berlin musical DER HAUPTMANN VON KÖPENICK. He was part of the
Monthy Python musical SPAMALOT and took on the leading role of the drag queen Walter/Waltraud in DER BEWEGTE MANN - DAS MUSICAL.

In Goethe's classic play GÖTZ VON BERLECHINGEN directed by Hansgünther Heyme, Martin played the Bishop of Bamberg and the Metzler. During the 20th anniversary tour of the Broadway rock musical RENT, Martin was seen as Benjamin Coffin III and in the leading role of Roger Davis.

In 2019, TuiCruises invited him to join the premiere ensemble of the brand new Mein Schiff 2 line as a soloist, where he was part of the big christening show in Lisbon and premiered his solo show I LOVE MY LIFE on board the ship.

In addition to his stage work, Martin is a regular voice actor and singer in the studio, including for Netflix and Disney +.

Since 2020 he has been artistic director at Gold & Silber-Musikverlag for the musical LUDWIG² - the king is back!
Since 2021 Martin plays Schattenmann as first cast in the musical LUDWIG² - THE KING IS BACK! at the Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein, Füssen.
